Help me…

Ok, I’ve got a cool new product ready to go but I’ve got a big problem. I’ve called them “Embosters” – they’re like embossed overlays that work with any paper you’ve got to give them an embossed look. What I really need help with is how to I best do a preview for the SBB store? The look is very subtle and detailed and the files themselves look as though there’s nothing there – until you place them on your layout. I’ve got page frames, page corners, full page patterns and motifs – 4 sets in all. How can I do the preview??

Here’s a little sampler of what I’m trying to explain:

If you have any ideas, email me – and if you can come up with a good idea that helps me out, I’ll give you the whole set for nothing!

Catch ya…

Hi! I like your Embosters! You could take several (eg. 3×3) different backgounds (solid, patterned, etc.) and overlay with your Embosters – AND in the middle or edge of each you could place a detailed preview. That way you could show 9 Embosters in one preview. (I guess I am NOT easy to follow, sorry…) Good luck!!!

They look pretty cool in the sample on your blog. Perhaps show them against a white, a black and a patterned background with a regular and magnified view?

Oh my goodness, wish I’d thought of them. lol

All joking aside – I suck at previews so I’m no help to you there. But I reckon they’re gonna be big sellers for you.

Your preview looks great Karen – I don’t think you need to try anything else. BUTTTTT if you’re asking I would show them on different coloured papers or on a sample LO. Hope that is a bit of help…!?!
