Reports from Nurse K…

All is well on my ward. My patient, Mr G, is getting better, albeit very slowly. He finds out tomorrow whether he can take the drip out of his hand and stop having the nurse visit once a day. He’ll still be on antibiotics for quite a while yet and may still have to have a little bit of surgery but he’s in a lot less discomfort than he was, thank goodness.

He’s been in bed early, and with a nice quiet house, I’ve been able to wrap up two kits I’ve been working on – Jack and Jill. These two were so much fun to do. Some of the elements have a rubberized look to them which has come out great.

Hey, Karen, I hope your DH is feeling better poor guy! I love these new kits – I’ve used them both already – so bring on the Christmas! lol, we have decorated our office at work already – otherwise we only get to have it decorated for a couple of weeks in December, before school ends – way too short!!

PS – I really love the rubber alphas in these kits – so realistic and yummy!

  • […] problem – My poor husbands’ illness from last year has flared up again, which throws our whole holidays into doubt. He gets operated on next Friday […]
