Half done. Kinda.

Gender Balance is past the halfway point. I’m pouring my heart and soul into this – trying to be a bit original and unique. Even if no one looks twice at it, I’ve had fun with it. The boy section is done – the papers, alpha and elements. The girl section has paper and alphas – onto the elements now. Fun stuff. Mr A doesn’t sleep much in the day, so the whole collection is taking longer than I anticipated, but that’s how it goes.

crw_6752.jpgMr A hasn’t had a good day today. A bit miserable, the poor thing. Possibly teething as his hair is red today. Yes, red. My kids, bless their little cotton socks, have hair that goes bright red when they cut a tooth. Crazy, yes, but they both did it. Mr L wasn’t a redhead, except when teething, but Mr A is. When the teeth are coming, he’s even redder. Today was a red day.

I did get this photo of his lower lip sticking out – this usually happens after he hears any of the following: no, gentle, careful, softly or NO – and follows with a flood of tears. I’ll spare you that picture.

Mr L’s enjoying school – loves hanging out with his mates and loves the work. Still comes home and buries his nose in a book each night. Good stuff.

And it’s way past my bedtime now – can’t get too much sleep though, or I’ll be the worse the wear for it tomorrow. Seems like my body has adjusted to 6hr nights after 11 months of them…

Catch ya…

Oh my, what a face! We had a similar look with DS. We called it the “five second warning.” If you saw that lip poke out, you had about 5 seconds to intervene, or he was going to start screaming! LOL
