Grinch time…

I think someone has stolen Christmas this year. Usually our street is decked out to the nines in Christmas lights, but this year – nothing. In fact, half the town is usually decked out. This year – nothing. Every year we go with my parents to a nearby town for dinner and drive through the Christmas lights. This year, there were hardly any lights. Christmas card tally – 2. Christmas trees up – 1 very small paper one (but to be fair, we are home to Destructo Baby, and he eats Christmas trees for breakfast). Decorations – 0. Presents under small tree – 4. It’s all a bit sad really. And yet, we don’t seem too concerned. Odd.

I finally finished my Hot Christmas kit – this one’s especially for those of us who don’t have snow at Christmas!

Not much else to tell. Taking a little break from designing for a week or two. Mr G is home on holidays for the better part of two weeks, Mr L finishes his first year of school this week (where did that go??) and Mr A is pulling himself up on EVERYTHING and still doing real baby crawling (yay!). Fingers crossed for a quiet week leading up to Christmas.

Catch ya…

I know what you mean about there being no trees and lights around. We’ve done our little bit (As we always do) but only inside. But our tree is kind of, well, bare this year. I guess everyone’s still rushing around. In fact we’ve still got some shopping to do *eek*

I just ADORE the kit, and it’s on my wish list hehe 😀
