I wouldn’t want to try and hide…

from anyone! Lovely to see so many of you have found your way here already. Thank you.

karen_hunt_pp_halves.jpgI get a little enthusiastic towards the end of making kits or paper – I want to get it done NOW and up and onto the next project. Consequently, sometimes things go out and then I’ll go “oops, I meant to…” <insert any number of things here>. Case in point: Paper Piecing Set Three from PDW.  I meant to add this picture into the preview, but forgot. Oops. Oh well. Here it is.

And on other, totally unrelated business, I have a genuine, bone fide (I hope!), real life electrician coming around tonight. The lighting in our house is so appallingly bad that the time has come to bite the bullet. Actually, the bullet has been getting bitten all this year – the only time anyone resembling an electrician has turned up, we weren’t’ home – I was off having a baby no less. But, a nice electrician on the other end of the phone assures me, he’ll be around tonight. Is it wrong to be so excited? The thought of having light in the house after dark is such a thrilling idea! The concept of being able to see the bookshelves without the use of a torch, or to read a book without the lamp on – fingers crossed this bloke turns up now!

Mr A is asleep, so I’d better get a couple of things done before he’s up and wriggling again. 24 weeks today… *sigh* So close to that magical 6 months – too fast, too fast…

Catch ya…
