The day so far…

When we did some washing last night we had these crystals appear in the wash. We thought it was because we’d mixed the old and new detergent in the bottle, but no, of course there’s a better explanation – we have a toddler in the house.

Turns out, Mr A was helping with the washing and put a disposable nappy in the clothes basket, which in turn all got dumped in the machine. The nappy is a lot lighter and super clean but lacking in crystals and padding. Our clothes are washed and abundant in crystals and padding.

I rang Mr G to tell him I’d solved the mystery and managed to catch him with a plumber who in turn gave us some advice on removing the crystals from the pump. And in the background? Well lets just say there were primates watching The Jungle Book on TV. Seriously.

And this afternoon we visit the surgeon for a little local and a few cuts. And then we pack.

Honestly, you can’t make this stuff up.
