Another sunny day…

albeit a very quiet one. Mr L spent last night at the grandparents, so there’s no running around to school, finding readers and lunches – just Mr A chatting away and flinging stuff around the house.

My house is a pigsty. Not a “oh, just a little bit messy, really, just a couple of books out of place” kind of messy, but a full on “oh my god, what have you been doing to this place?” kinda messy. I remember reading a comment once, one of those wonderfully sexist comments, about judging a woman by how clean her linen closet was. Judge away, I say, as it’s the only tidy part of the house. If you can fight your way through the toys/chairs/cats/boxes to get there.

Today, I was going to start. But Mr A slept for 2 3/4 hrs – which he NEVER does, even when he was a newborn. It’s always been 2 hrs, max. His brother used to sleep more when he was about to cut a tooth… fingers crossed…. Anyway, I was going to start, and I still might, but it’s such a nice day that I am going t0 go outside and blow bubbles with Mr A instead. In our toes. And t-shirts (all though his is on back the front and only I can take the blame for that). And I’m going to do it sooner rather than later as I can hear the imminent destruction of my kitchen occurring… not that you’d notice…
