My little boy is…

November 25, 2006

a possum. Yep, we’ve decided Mr A is a little possum. Not a cute little ringtail, but a full on, slightly feral, brushtail possum. In the day, he’s docile, a little feisty when disturbed, but on the whole, manageable. But at night, he turns into a feeding, yowling, hissing, hungry beast. It’s not helped by the fact that he has not got any teeth yet, despite teething for SIX months now. He drools, he chews, he gets red cheeks – he just doesn’t get teeth. He’s in a fine temper today, and his nose has suddenly started running, so maybe this is it? Time for teeth? I’m a bit over his “not drinking bottles in the day but having three at night” phase.
My other boy is dreaming of blowing things up, building giant Lego things and being on junior school council one day. As you do. He celebrated turning 6 1/2 yesterday. I need to point out that when I say “celebrated”, he did actually celebrate and told everyone he met that it was his half birthday. Yet another wonderful trait from his grandfather…

And I’ve been doing nothing. Sleep deprived, along with my poor Mr G, we’ve been playing catch up around the house all day. I did manage to give my bloggy a little change of colour to go with the new header. Did a bit of DIY CSSing, which was a little bit of learning curve, but I’m pleased with the results. Means I can change the look a bit more often. :)

I think it’s time to plonk in front of the tv for the night and zone out. I’ll be up again for the next feed before I know it anyway.

Catch ya…
